Although most of our tours are customised, most are variants of one of the following tours. Travelers usually combine the highlands of Belize, typically Mountain Pine Ridge or Cayo, with a stay at the coast or on a caye at the end. |
| Tikal, probably the most famous Mayan site, is a must see. It's just 1 1/2 hours along relatively untrafficked roads across the border - or quickly reached by plane from Belize City. So many of the tours below include Tikal. If time permits, we really recommend an overnight at Tikal to make the most of a visit. |
Ambergris Caye with San Pedro and the more southerly Placencia compete as the most popular beach spots. Both have their charms. For a quieter, more independent and isolated time, a visit to one of the other cayes such as Turneffe Island can be great, particlarly for diving and fishing. |
