Mexico and the Pacific

This trip takes you through the center of the city, visiting the Cathedral, the National Palace and the Palace of Fine Arts. Visit the Anthropology Museum, get to know the fantastic site of Teotihuacan and visit the Guadalupe Shrine. Then visit Cuernavaca or Taxco and stay the night in Taxco. Visit Acapulco, see the cliff divers’ jump of the Quebrada show, and the most important points of this famous bay.

Day 1: Arrive in Mexico
Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel of your choice.

Day 2: Mexico Cathedral - National Palace
Morning city sightseeing – half day guided visit including the most important buildings in the historical centre located around the “ The Zocalo”, the Cathedral, National Palace, to admire the famous murals of Diego Rivera. Continue to the modern part of the city, ending at the Anthropology Museum (closed on Mondays), one of the World’s 10 best museums. Return to your hotel. B

Day 3: Mexico - Teotihuacán Pyramids
Morning guided excursion to the famous Teotihuacan Pyramids, five hours excursion starting with a visit to the Virgen De Guadalupe Shrine, place of peregrination of millions of Mexicans and around the world people. Continue north of the City, to the Teotihuacán Pyramids, where   we   will   visit   the Sun and the Moon Pyramids, the Quetzalcoatl Temple and the fortresses. Free time for those who like to climb to the top of the Pyramids. Return to your hotel. B

Day 4: Mexico - Taxco
Excursion to Cuernavaca, the “City of the eternal spring” and beautiful flowers. Visit the Cathedral, one of the oldest colonial constructions in Mexico. Continue to Taxco, the “Silver City”, guided tour through this colonial gem, one the prettiest towns in Mexico. Taxco is the place for shopping silver and of course to bargain! Overnight in Taxco. B

Day 5: Taxco - Acapulco
Bus trip to Acapulco and after aprox. four hours, we will arrive to the world famous holiday resort Acapulco. Transfer to your hotel. B

Day 6: Acapulco - La Quebrada
Today you will have the opportunity to see the world famous divers, at La Quebrada (entrance tickets only). Divers perform their spectacular leaps off the cliffs into the ocean 136 feet below! B

Day 7: Acapulco
Day at leisure for relaxing under the sun or explore the city on your own. B

Day 8: Fly out from Mexico
Transfer to the airport for departure to your next destination. B
