How it works
You receive a car with unlimited mileage, a road map and detailed itinerary, and hotels booked en route.

Day 1: Arrive in Santiago - Santa Cruz (190 km / 120 mi)
Today you will pick up your caColchagua Valley - Vineyards in Colchagua Valleyr and drive to the renown Colchagua Valley. You will head South on the Ruta 5 towards the town of San Fernando, located at about 140 km south of Santiago and follow the signs to Santa Cruz. Along the road you will be able to see how the thriving wine industry has taken over most of the valley. In Santa Cruz you will reach your final destination for the next couple of days.  Overnight in Santa Cruz.

Day 2: Santa Cruz
Following the oldest Wine Route in Chile today, you will have the possibility to visit some of Chile’s most prominent vineyards. The fertile soils make a varied red wine production possible, such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Chile’s emblematic Carmenère.. Overnight in Santa Cruz.

Day 3: Santa Cruz - Valparaíso (230 km / 143 mi)
Today you will drive along the I-80-g route to reach your final destination in Valparaíso. This route is a great alternative to Chile’s main highway since it maintains most of the quaint appearance from the old times. Once you make it to Valparaíso you will be able to experience the oldest and most important port of Chile. Valparaíso’s picturesque layCentral Valley - Cerro Alegre (Happy Hill) in Valparaíso with a great viewout, enhanced by the surrounding hills that seem to dive into the ocean, reminds us that this was once the most important maritime destination of the Pacific coast before the Strait of Panama was opened to navigation in 1914. Overnight in Valparaíso.

Day 4: Valparaiso - Termas de Jahuel (260 km / 160 mi)
Today you will leave the coast to start climbing up the Andes Mountain Range. You will drive towards the city of San Felipe. Here you will start seeing some of the traditional country side houses that were built in one of Chile’s first developed agricultural areas. Then at 1180 m / 3900 ft and only 14 km / 9 mi Northeast of San Felipe you will find the amazing spa and health service of Alto Jahuel. Overnight in Alto Jahuel.

Day 5: Termas de Jahuel - Fly out from Santiago (100 km / 62 mi)
Today you will drive back to Santiago to drop off your car and catch your flight back.

Tour includes: 4 nights including breakfast, 5 days car rental including unlimited free mileage, local tax, full CDW coverage, a selfdrive brochure, a basic roadmap and descriptions. Deductible as per general car rental conditions.

Not included: International and domestic air Fare, airport taxes, meals not mentioned, PAI and SACA insurance (optional), gratuities and personal expenses, electronic toll roads (TAG). In Chile car rental companies charge an additional airport service fee (Hertz rate: $8, - per day aprox.) when vehicle will be picked up from airport, this extra fee has to be paid directly to the rental agency.
