Located to the southeast of the city of Chihuahua we find the Copper Canyon, which is made of twenty canyons of up to 3,046 meters high, the extension of thsese canyons surpasses in four times those of Grand Canyon in Arizona.

Day 1: Arrival in Chihuahua
Copper CanyonArrival in Chihuahua, meet by our local representative and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon city tour. The historic colonial city Chihuahua, is located on the edge of the hot, dry Chihuahua desert and has important agricultural, livestock, mining, industrial and commercial interests. Some of the highlights to be seen in Chihuahua are the cathedral, remains of the aqueduct built by Jesuits, astounding murals found in some of the public buildings, the home of the revolutionary Pancho Villa, and a never occupied mansion built by a mining magnate for a wouldbe-bride, now the art nouveau museum. Overnight hotel Palacio del Sol.

Day 2: Chihuahua - Creel (on the Chepe Train)
Early transfer to train station to board the passenger train “Chepe” “Chihuahua – Pacifico” on to Creel. Creel has a great number of natural attractions in its surroundings and it is the starting (or ending) point of the world of the Tarahumara culture seen from the communities of San Ignacio de Arareko and Cusarare. You can visit the arts and crafts museum, located at the old railroad station. There is an excellent exposition of the Raramuri culture. A lot of walking can be done starting at the hotel. In the afternoon, we will visit the Arareko lake, located about 7 km from Creel, a Tarahumara cave and the Jesuit mission. Overnight al hotel The Lodge at Creel.

Day 3: Creel - Divisadero
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to train station to continue to Divisadero, meaning “overview”, is the name given by the railroad to its mid-point siding carved into the high rim of the Urique Canyon, one element of the Copper Canyon system, stop for approximately 15 minutes to walk around and take pictures. Then continue for a 5 minutes ride to arrive at Posada Barrancas station and transfer to your hotel. The view from your hotel is breathtaking, down to the silver thread of the Urique river. Trails head out from this point up and down the canyon walls – in addition to newly developed walking trails
leading to the canyon floor and river there are many ancient Indian trails which still serve as the only transportation network serving this vast region. Fullboard and overnight at the hotel Mirador.

Day 4: Divisadero - Los Mochis
Los MochisEarly free to continue walking and exploring the beauty of landscapes by the viewpoints of the Canyon. By noon, transfer to the train station. Arrival in Los Mochis and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at Santa Anita. FB

Day 5: Los Mochis - departure
Breakfast in the hotel. Departure transfer from hotel  to the airport. B
