Galapagos Explorer II
The M/N GALAPAGOS EXPLORER II operates in the Galapagos Islands since February 1998. It is not only a vessel adapted to the eco-tourism operations that provides environmental education and interpretation on the Galapagos, it also has all the installations and necessary services to guarantee guided experiences on the islands
Built in 1990, with an overall length of 89.35 m and reaching 17 knots, the Galapagos Explorer II is one of the most elegant of the vessels cruising the Galapagos’ waters. The M/V Galapagos Explorer II is designed to provide comfort and scientific information to 100 passengers visiting the Galapagos National Park, emphasizing on interesting itineraries that offer the best of this pristine paradise.
The Galapagos Explorer II is a luxury ship that offers only suites of an average of 250sqft/ 20m2, which are comfortable while they keep harmony with the surroundings.
Explorer II offer four categories of suites: Renaissance Balcony, Renaissance Panoramic, Deluxe Balcony, Premium, Classic. All rooms have bathrooms with shower, amenities for personal use, TV with three channels, mini-bar, safety boxes, closet, internet, hair dryer. Maximum occupation is 3 persons.
Breakfast and lunch are served as buffet and for dinner there will be a variety of dishes (with options to choose from and two vegetarian options as well). The kitchen offers Ecuadorian and international cuisine; special diets can be arrange prior advance information.
The islands are visited twice a day in groups guided by learned bilingual naturalists whose hands on attitude and passion for teaching ensure a most astonishing holistic experience. The groups never exceed 16 persons per guide. Expert naturalist guides will offer an environmentally friendly and educational cruise focused in the natural history of the Galapagos.

the exterior areas enable for you to appreciate the panoramic view of the islands. There are reclining chairs and a station where you can treat yourself with tea, coffee, cookies and water.

To enjoy the charms of this archipelago there are two Jacuzzis with a capacity of six people at the Erickson Deck.
Main Lounge- Conferences and meetings area
During the cruise daily briefings are offered to inform about the next day visit. Also there are conferences regarding culture and natural history and science matters imparted by the naturalists’ guides.
Available the entire day, the library offers a large selection of books where natural history is enhanced, pocket books magazines, scientific reports and also books for kids.
